A compound called eritadenine found in shiitakes may lower cholesterol by promoting cholesterol excretion. Here is a quick and easy 15-minute garlic butter mushroom sautéed recipe that you can serve with any dinner.
Garlic Butter Mushrooms (serves 4)
1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
1 lb White or Mixed Mushrooms, fresh sliced
3 Tbsp of Butter
1 Tbsp of Avocado oil
1 Tbsp Fresh Thyme
1 Tbsp Fresh Parsley
Add the first four ingredients into a sauté pan and cook over medium-high heat until slightly browned. Reduce heat. Add the thyme and parsley and cook for another minute then serve. Bon appétit!
